Monitor the status of your machinery and prevent damage by carrying out regular lubricant checks and tests!
LubCheck is a globally-recognised diagnostics process based on monitoring machinery status by focusing on oil sample testing.
The basis of oil diagnostics is that lubricants interacting with machinery carry traces coming from normal or irregular operation of machinery, engines, transmission systems or hydraulic systems.
LubCheck helps us in the early detection of possible breakdowns or malfunctions and can avoid expensive repairs or damage build-up. It is very cost-efficient because the cost of regular oil sample tests is usually significantly lower than the cost of repairs of often totally unexpected breakdowns or malfunctions.
Profit from the benefits delivered by LubCheck!
We determinedly analyse and interpret diagnostic information hidden in a drop of oil and use it to optimise maintenance.
During one of our tests, we analyse the metrics of lubricants’ physical and chemical parameters as well as the intensity of their changes, types and quantities of contaminant found and the type and ratio of worn metals. We draw conclusions about information obtained on the correct or improper operation of machinery and the proper or improper selection of lubricants and how best to handle used lubricants.
SamplingTake a sample from the machinery or engine! For the sampling process, we provide you with sampling vessels, a manual sampling pump and a handbook with an exact description of the sampling process. |
Forwarding samplesRecord data of the sample identifier and post them to us! You send us a sample in the sampling vessel package, data sheet attached. Sampling vessels can be posted free of charge. |

AnalysisPhysical and chemical tests of the samples are then performed in our MOL LubCheck Laboratory equipped with special and rapid instruments. The test parameters will vary for each lubricant and machinery type. Click here for further details! |
Expert opinionOur expert tribology engineers analyse test results. Test results are summarised within 72 hours. Textual expert opinion sent by e-mail– if required – also contain recommendations for better maintenance. |
After samples arrive, they are subjected to the following standard laboratory tests
